Terrariums are fragile glass products and can be easily damaged during transport. That’s why we do not offer parcel or forwarding shipment. Standard handover takes place through self-pickup in Inden. Alternatively, you may organize a freight forwarder on your own (details below).
Glass, silicone joints, and glued parts are very sensitive to vibrations, pressure, and temperature changes. Even with careful packaging, the breakage risk remains high. Pickup on-site reduces these risks and allows for a visible inspection at handover.
You may commission your own freight forwarder/driver. Please note:
- We provide no pallets and no packaging. The freight company must bring all necessary materials and package/palletize on-site.
- Recommended: Euro-pallet, edge protectors, blankets/foam, stretch film, straps; if required, tail lift & pallet jack.
- Please arrange the pickup date in advance and provide driver’s contact details as well as the time window.
- Transport safety, insurance, and load securing are the responsibility of the commissioned forwarder/customer.
- Schedule an appointment in advance (weekend pickup possible by arrangement).
- Check vehicle size (interior height/width), bring blankets/padding and straps if needed.
- Transport upright, do not lay terrarium on its side; avoid major temperature differences.
- We assist with lifting, but load securing is your responsibility.
