With our 2K-PU system you can coat the interior surfaces of your terrarium to create a natural-looking, structured and permanently moisture-resistant surface. In combination with our humus flocking, you get ideal adhesion and growth areas for mosses and plants – perfect for rainforest setups.

Step by Step
- Create shape: Glue in lightweight styrofoam/styrodur pieces and shape with knife/hot wire.
- Mix 2K-PU: Combine components thoroughly (observe pot life) and apply with a brush.
- Flock: Generously cover freshly coated areas with humus/substrate; leave excess in place.
- Allow curing: Typically rest for ~24h (depending on product/temperature).
- Tap off & rinse: Remove excess, moisten with warm water – then plant.

Safety & Notes
- Protective gear: Nitrile gloves, safety glasses, good ventilation; respirator if necessary – handle isocyanates carefully.
- Use only cured: Once fully hardened, PU forms a stable, inert surface. Only introduce animals afterwards.
- Observe pot life: Always mix in portions; ideal curing at 18–25 °C.
